Workhorses of the Gulf

L&M Botruc Rental operates a fleet of five offshore supply vessels serving the offshore oil and gas industry — designed, crewed, and dispatched from the Louisiana coast for more than seventy-five years.

L&M Botruc Rental, LLC

Offshore supply vessels — and only offshore supply vessels — since the first Botruc launched in 1956.

Founded in 1948 by Minor Cheramie, L&M was among the first in the industry to run the wheelhouse-forward, deck-aft supply vessel design that became the standard for working the shelf. Every hull since has been built and maintained for one job: getting cargo, fluids, and equipment to the field and back, on schedule.

The company is still family-owned, still based in Galliano, and still crewed by people who stay — many of our mariners and shoreside staff have been aboard for twenty, thirty, even forty years.
